One of the many suitcase cajons I designed. Made from maple timber, front back and sides. This one has a sliding aperture and my quick release snare system.
It never sold any, but I made approximately 20 control models which I still have. Each one differs in some way.

This drum has a maple timber frame and a 2.8mm maple ply hitting panel.
The drum is conveniently sized for travel, light and tough, with dovetail joinery on the frame.
Close your eyes and listen to that bass and snare with headphones on.
